Every woman goes through a life threatening experience during labour because pregnant women are destined to endure pain during their child bearing. This is because inside her lies the greatest creation; Man. Hence, to produce something phenomenal, to birth a god, to bring forth the mover and shaker of the earth, it has to take some pain.
However, when during the labour, during the struggle, during the discomfort, the pain has to reach its peak, yet that’s just when the baby begins to emerge. At that point, she screams her life out, pushes with all her bones and gives her entire self to the task.
Similarly, we also get into a tight and rough spot where everything becomes excruciatingly painful. The world just seem to be against us and everything seem to be over. Ironically, that’s just the time and place that the tide will turn.
Unfortunately, this is where most people feel powerless and give up on themselves because they feel that they can not overcome the pain or struggle. Little wonder Napoleon Hill, author of ‘Think and Grow Rich’ once said, “No man ever achieved worthwhile success who did not, at one time find himself with at least one foot hanging well over the brink of failure.”
You see, times will come when your energy will be depleted, your efforts will be futile and your hopes dashed that you feel you won’t even survive the next minute, but trust me, that’s just a sign that the baby is coming because you are on the verge of birthing.
You are about to birth your ideas, dreams and goals that you have been incubating for weeks, months and years and it would radically change the course of your life. Mr Thomas Edison, a man who held on despite many failures and had been on the brink of quitting has this to say, “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.”
So whenever your pain reaches its peak, whenever it seems like game over, whenever you feel that you can’t go on, be strong enough to hold still and push because effort only fully releases its reward after a person refuses to quit. More so, that could just be your breakthrough knocking on the door, because the night is darkest just before the dawn.
So don’t give up on your dream because if your mum had given up, you won’t be alive to read this inspiring piece. So hold on because your baby is coming.
